Frequently asked questions
The practical details, clearly answered.
If you are still deciding whether this kind of support may fit your student, start here.
01Does my child need an IEP or diagnosis?+
No. Students do not need an IEP, 504 plan, diagnosis, or identified disability to receive tutoring.
02Is this homework help?+
The primary focus is developing academic skills rather than simply completing assignments. Schoolwork may occasionally be incorporated when it helps address an underlying skill.
03Does this replace services in my child’s IEP?+
No. Village of Regulation provides private educational tutoring and academic intervention. It does not replace services provided by a school district or IEP team.
04Are students grouped by grade?+
Not necessarily. Groups may be based on instructional need so students can work on appropriate skills. Initial groups are expected to remain small, generally around 4 students or fewer.
05Where and when are sessions held?+
Sessions are live and online. Initial sessions are expected during weekday daytime hours, with times clearly listed in Central Time.
06How much does tutoring cost?+
Pricing will be announced before enrollment opens. Joining the interest list is free and does not commit you to enrolling.
